We still haven't moved, but wow, I have a LOT of stuff to sell
While Rob and his friend Matt put a new roof on the new house, I went through every drawer, cupboard, cabinet, closet, shelf, bin, and basket at home, asking myself of all the contents, "Is this something I want to keep or something I want to get rid of?"
A lot went out to the dumpster. A lot went to the recycling bins. And a huge amount is stacked up, ready for a moving sale.
This is about a third of what I have set aside to sell. This is just the stuff from my studio. (I may be laughing maniacally inside right now.)
There are still some things that need to happen to the house before we can move. I need to have a sink installed in the room that will be my studio, for one. We need to get a washer and dryer. There needs to be a vent added so the dryer can actually vent outside. Et cetera. Et cetera.
But I think I've done everything I can do to get ready for the move short of packing, which I'm not going to do until I actually know when we're going to move, so I can get back to making jewelry. I've missed it! I have some ideas for some shawl pins that I want to try out.
